Face of Fear: The Forester
After being laid off from your old job, you started looking through available vacancies, where you come across one tempting job offer as a forester, you just need to go to the forest for a couple of months and perform simple duties, and they also promise to pay well. Forest, silence, nature, what could go wrong here?
Demo version
This is a demo version of a small game. It only includes the first story chapter, which takes place at a gas station and a roadside diner. The main location in the forest itself will only appear in the full version.

Honestly there's really not much to this demo and it's pretty barebones but I'm pretty excited for the full release.
The graphics are great, I loved exploring around, wishing there was more to see/do/collect, and the characters/models are nice.
As it stands now, it's not really a horror game and instead more of a comfy kinda game.
Hype to see the finished product!

Rituals in the forest?
Great demo, that actually has a lot of scope to it. I was pleasantly surprised that you could go 'off the beaten track' so to speak and check out a few other areas, like the church and the house. I liked that with the man with the broken down car gave some foreboding insight into the forest, and that the NPC actually acted like real people: 'why are you talking to me, I'm just enjoying my dinner.'Only minor quibbles, but I would reduce the eating time and the waitress was so damn slow - I'm really looking forward to the main game. Demo was polished and if you add other areas to investigate (like the church and house) in the main game, you're sure to have a firecracker on your hands with Face of Fear: The Forester.'

For being a demo, this was quite rock solid so far! Being able to stop by and talk to npcs and such was a really good idea. I would say though some of the grammer needs a tad work. Could be wrong but this felt like it was google translated from something at one point. Made a video on it.
This is true, all dialogues and all text are translated using Google Translate, even this comment. :)
Not saying it's a bad thing but yeah from being a native english speaker for my whole life, there were tons of errors lol.
also, did I do something wrong? why did the game end the way it did...
can't wait for the full version. really well done so far.
